Baltimore Aquarium

As one of our Christmas presents from my parents, we asked for tickets to the Baltimore Aquarium.  With no plans for today, we decided to head down to Baltimore this morning to use our gift.  The boys had a great time, as did Brian and I.  It was fairly empty there and was nice to have the space to explore at our own pace.  Here is Eric checking out the stingray swimming right in front of him:
And I thought these anemone were very cool:
Hard to tell here, but this fish was HUGE!
And this injured sea turtle was enormous as well.  Definitely bigger than me (though it's hard to tell from the picture).  It is missing it's front left foot and, in this photo, it was right up against the surface.  So you can see it's reflection above, though I was shooting from underneath it:

In the rainforest area:
The beautiful jellyfish art display.  Too bad the real jellyfish exhibit was under construction so we didn't get to see it today.
Next we got to see the dolphins doing some tricks:
Eric enjoying the dolphin exhibit:
We had lunch at the Inner Harbor and hit the road to get home by 3:30.  Great day and we'll have to go back in a few years!

Forgotten Photo

Cleaning up my email tonight I found this photo which Brian had scanned and sent to me.  It's Evan's t-ball photo with the Coach.  It is one of the most genuine smiles you'll ever see on Evan in a photograph in the last year and I had to post it . . . even if it is 7 months late!
