NYC 2015

For the 4th year in a row, we headed into NYC to see the Christmas decorations on the weekend after Thanksgiving.  We were at Macy's on 34th St bright and early (8:30 AM) to meet Santa. The boys aren't quite comfortable with Santa yet (especially Evan), so we sat with them again.  I need to formally scan this photo but here is just a picture of it that I took with my phone:

After photos were done, it was off to see the windows outside:
This photo sums up exactly how Eric was feeling about taking pictures this day. It was in the 30's at this point and he was also refusing to wear a coat:
Exploring NYC:
Surprise trip to the outside of the Morgan Library & Museum for our niece Morgan . . . and also for me as it is the library of JP Morgan:
Next were the Lord & Taylor windows:
 With Deedee:
And now with Nana:
The lion statue outside of the NYC Public Library:
Inside the NYC Public Library and the beautiful Christmas tree inside of it:
Guess who still hasn't made an appearance in a photo?  Instead we had to settle for lots of picture with just Evan in them:
We also made it to Rockefeller Center to see the tree, along with St. Patrick's cathedral.  But the crowds were pretty large and cooperation for photos was wearing thin.
But when we made it to Central Park (their favorite place) someone decided he was finally photo ready:
Happy as can be to be in Central Park:
Love this photo of the two of us with the sunshine in the background:
Onto some fun with gymnastics in Central Park:
My other favorite photo from the day - I still have my gymnastics skills, as does Morgan:
And quite comical was Brian's attempt at a backbend:
The day was about as beautiful as can be (50 degrees and sunshine in December). We walked over 4 miles and everyone slept well that night.  Looking forward to next year already!
